Kemayoran, Kota Jakarta Pusat, Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta 10630, Indonesia, the restaurant offers not just a meal, but a flavorful experience that brings the rich traditions of Udupi cuisine right to your plate.

For those unfamiliar, Udupi cuisine originates from the coastal town of Udupi in southern India, famous for its delectable vegetarian dishes that are both hearty and healthy. Udupi Delicious captures this essence perfectly, offering a wide variety of dishes that cater to all kinds of tastes, from spicy dosas to rich sambar and vibrant coconut chutneys.

The restaurant itself is inviting and vibrant, with a simple yet comfortable interior that reflects the warmth of South Indian hospitality. Whether you're stopping by for a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner, the ambiance ensures a welcoming experience. The friendly staff, always ready with a smile, adds to the charm of the place, making every visit feel like dining with friends.

The menu at Udupi Delicious is a testament to the richness of South Indian cuisine. For starters, the crispy and golden-brown dosas are a fan favorite. Served with an assortment of chutneys and sambar, they offer the perfect balance of flavor and texture. Another must-try is the masala dosa, stuffed with a spiced potato filling that pairs beautifully with the tangy chutney.

If you’re in the mood for something a little heartier, the thali meal is a great choice. It’s a feast for the senses, with a variety of dishes served on a single platter. You’ll find everything from vegetable curries and rice to raita and pickles, each prepared with fresh ingredients and traditional spices that make each bite a delight. The flavors are bold yet balanced, showcasing the expert use of aromatic spices like cumin, coriander, and mustard seeds.

One of the restaurant's standout dishes is the "Udupi Special Thali," which combines some of the best offerings of the menu into one satisfying platter. It’s a great way to experience a wide range of the restaurant’s culinary delights in one sitting, from tangy sambar to creamy curries. If you're after a lighter option, their idli and vada combo is another top choice. The idlis are soft and fluffy, the perfect complement to the crispy, fried vadas.

For those with a sweet tooth, Udupi Delicious doesn’t disappoint. Their traditional desserts, like payasam and kesari, are the perfect way to end a meal on a sweet note. The payasam, a rice pudding made with milk and flavored with cardamom, is creamy and comforting. Meanwhile, the kesari, a semolina-based dessert with a touch of saffron, offers a satisfying sweetness without being overwhelming.

One of the first Indian restaurant I tried, which got me hooked on Indian Cuisine. Serving a very large variety of curries and bread, this restaurant produces food with bold flavors and aroma. Pros: - Spices were bold but not too overpowering - Wide selection of curry and protein Cons: - Sometimes the service may be a bit slow - A bit expensive

Visited on a weekend as I'm craving Indian food. The place was small, only fit less than 100 pax. Feeling bit claustrophobic after a while. We ordered: - Cheese Naan - Chicken Malai Kebab - Chicken Tikka Masala - Fry Papadum - Mutton Biryani - Paper Sada Dosai - GADBAD Ice Cream - Indian Masala Tea - Mango Lassi The main dishes were all delicious. These servers have a communication problem though, I have to remind them of a simple indian chai. For dessert I ordered Ice Cream was very sweet, too sweet.

I recently visited Udupi Delicious and had an amazing dining experience. The food truly reminded me of the authentic flavors I tasted in India. I ordered Chicken 65, Gulab Jamun, and Dosa, and everything was absolutely delicious. The spices in each dish were perfectly balanced and full of flavor. The Chicken 65 was served hot and fresh, with a crispy exterior and tender inside. The seasoning was just right, with a slight spiciness that enhanced the taste. The aroma of the spices was so enticing that I couldn’t wait to take the first bite. I could taste the blend of ginger, garlic, and curry leaves in every bite. The flavors were rich and bold, leaving a satisfying taste on my palate. What I loved most was the perfect balance of spiciness, tanginess, and savoriness. Additionally, the portion size was generous and well worth the price. The Gulab Jamun I ordered for dessert was also outstanding. It had an incredibly soft and spongy texture, with just the right amount of sweetness. The syrup was infused with cardamom and rose essence, giving it an authentic and aromatic flavor. Every bite melted in my mouth, delivering a comforting and indulgent experience. I could tell that the Gulab Jamun was made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. The Dosa I tried was equally impressive. The outer layer was perfectly crisp, while the inside remained soft and flavorful. It was served with sambar and chutney, both of which were rich in taste. The sambar had a deliciously savory and slightly spicy flavor, while the coconut chutney was fresh and fragrant. I could tell that everything was made from fresh ingredients, rather than instant mixes. This Dosa truly reminded me of the ones I had in India. Overall, my experience at Udupi Delicious was exceptional. The food here genuinely reflects the authentic taste of Indian cuisine, with well-balanced spices and high-quality ingredients. The service was also warm and welcoming, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy authentic and flavorful Indian food. I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes!

Will definitely go back. The restaurant is quiet small and hidden. The food tastes amazing. Me and my friends had a great meal. The server were nice and informative, most of the food we ordered were recommended by the server. My personal favorite is Chicken Tikka Masala with Cheese Naan. The flavour blended perfectly and somehow felt comfortable.

While i dont have any problems with their delicious non veg delight, the waiting time for me and my friends kulcha are too long - almost 30 minutes or more. This is too long since the main course already served before. Pani puri is weirdly served after main course creating imbalance meal order. Masala chai was also weirdly served near end of meal which is weird, we expect it to be served along the meal. Kulcha, tikka masala, lassi are decent but please improve your kitchen situation since the servers are fast moving, but couldnt do anything since the kitchen do served the food so slow. Hope the management of this particular udupi hear my feedback.
